St Louis was a small hit (number 100) for the Easybeats in USA in 1968.However, I can find no mention of it on the site.
This site does not list ALL the songs that are mentioned on the Billboard charts. It only lists songs that were the biggest hits in more than one chart round the world. If you want a list of ALL the Billoard charts you should visit the Billboard website.
We treat the song title "St Louis" as quite different from "St Louis Blues". If their song had been called "St Louis Blues" we would have listed it on the song title's page. The Easybeats were not a big enough act to reach the top 1,000, if they had been we would list all their songs.
However what we do have is a comprehensive listing across the world's charts. So if you search for "Easybeats" (in the serach box top right) you will see that the song "Sorry" was a big hit for them in Australia.

Haunting Track (As asked below)
I'm so pleased to report that it was recently played on 'SOTS' on Radio 2. It's "Smile If You Want To' by Tim Andrews and Paul Korda.
I was wrong about the fade-out but after 48 years I now know what it is. Never even a slight hit which I can't understand. 'Soundhound' doesn't recognise it and it's not on iTunes. I wonder if a re-issue might spark success even in the current song climate?

Not sure if this song came out in 1968 maybe 1969, the song was called "Blackon White". I used to have the 45 , but an ex girlfriend kept it. Our band used to play it, but I never hear it any where. We need a song chart that list all the songs that played on the radio whether it made the top 100 or not. They're are some good songs that just didn't make it. No, you didn't imagine it - it was simply called 'Dusty' and was written andperformed by a guy called Bobby Russell (although, to be fair to you, Mr. Russell did compose 'Honey' as well, so that may be why you're thinking of him). Apart from that, Mr. Russell also composed #93, so he was doing better as a writer than a performer!

Phantom lyrics
Can anyone help me trace a song I heard in July 1968 but can find no trace of it and I'm beginning to think I imagined it. I only heard it once but most of the lyrics have stuck with me: "the first time I met Dusty was on February 3rd and she was going with a boy I couldn't stand. The next time I met dusty well she looked at mw quite differently.......... And that's how dusty gets to everyone in time...." I thought it was someone like Bobby Goldsboro, but apparently not. Am I going mental over the last 47 years???

This song had a great deal of Radio 1 airplay in late August 1968 and seemed to go hand-in-hand with The Casuals 'Jesamine'. It was a male band singing a slow tuneful and emotional ballad whose chorus was repeated on the fade-out. I can't recall its making the charts.

unable to find song from 1968
There is a song I heard in 1968 that Im craving to hear again. It had the wordings "Another time". It sounded like the group " Association", but not sure to this day.How can such a wonderful song not be played on stations now that there is satalite access, I don't know. Goes to show how ratings can affect availability.

I'm trying to find the name of the song that was a hit here in Australia around 1968-69 (I think) that contained the words "Go with the wind 'cross the sea, 'cross the sky". +This song was used as the melody for a TV jingle here in Australia for the Bank of New South Wales soon after it was a hit here. +I'm not sure of the name, and I don't know many of the lyrics. +It was a male artist ... I don't know his name. +I think he has an afro hairstyle or very curly dark hair and I think he had a moustache. + I was very young at the time and loved the song. +

Song is by a mans name & his __------------------ about a woman with multiple voice of base, tennor high pitch a little.

Our entry for the song (for version 1.7.0001) states "Holland 2 - Jun 1968, Germany 16 - Nov 1968, Australia Goset 19 - Jul 1971" the record clearly only charted in the Netherlands, Germany and, some years later, in Australia.
