do you have more information about Prince's chart success in Canada? The closest I saw of it was from Wikipedia where he was actually shown to be more successful in the 90s than the 80s over there. However, here only 10 of Prince's singles are shown to have charted in Canada on this list... as i consider it more reliable than wiki, I was wondering if this is the final verdict or if you might be missing the Canada stats...?
on a related note, I find it amusing that a lot of people pigeonhole Prince as "an eighties singer" when looking through this list and several others of chart numbers, he was far more successful in Europe in the 1990s where several of his songs went top five consecutively.
All the entries we have are listed here (in the "Chart Entries" column).
One thing that doesn't help is the fact that by the 1990s he was using a wide range of different names so many listings have his successes then spread across multiple entries

It [The Beautiful Experience] charted on the UK Singles Chart at #18 (at the time in the UK, EPs could only chart on the singles chart), and #92 on the U.S. Billboard 200. As I said "The Beautiful Experience was an Album NOT a single. It does not belong here. Not a whole lot of research on your part and you would easily see this to be true. The fact that there was a time period where EPs could only chart on the singles chart in the UK also means you guys should re-review your data for other songs/albums that came out during this time and be sure you are listing it in the right place. I'm asking that you Please put "The Beautiful Experience" on the "Hit Albums by Prince" Page.
Lastly, It also wouldn't take much research to find that the song "Beautiful Loved and Blessed" was NEVER released as a single and therefore could not chart. I appreciate you changing the year of the song but the fact still remains this song was never released as any type of single (promo, stand alone, digital etc.) off the 3121 album. Having it up as a "hit" is innacurate. Again thank you for your time it is appreciated.
EPs are listed as albums in some places and singles in others. Our decision is that, in countries where it is listed in the singles chart, we will list it as a single. It doesn't matter if the item was actually a single, album or boxed set, if the chart lists it as a single it shows up in our singles chart. We try not to interpret the source chart's decision, we try to list what the source chart says (as far as we can).
So, no, we can't put "The Beautiful Experience" into the album chart, because it was not listed in any of the source charts for albums.
You say it "wouldn't take much reaseach" to have found the issue with the bad listing. We have 394,058 entries of songs, albums and artists, if we were to spend 20 seconds researching each song, and do that for 24 hours a day it would take more than 90 days to check all the entries.
Finally the song you mention is listed in the source chart as being number 1 in Japan, that counts as a hit.

Corrections
1. The Beautiful Experience is not a song it's an album. The Album contains a bunch of remixes of The Most Beautiful Girl In The World but there is no such song as "The Beautiful Experience"
2. The song Beautiful Loved And Blessed is from his 3121 album which was released in 2006 not 1994. Also Beautiful loved and blessed was never released as a single anywhere. Perhaps there was a song called beautiful loved and blessed in Japan in 1994? But it was not by Prince because as I have said it was never released as a single and the song was on the 3121 album that came out in 2006.

There have been a few acts that have broken into the singles charts with albums, as far as we are concerned a release by Prince called "The Beautiful Experience" reached number 4 in Switzerland and number 18 in the UK. So it counts as a hit.
The song "Beautiful, Loved & Blessed" was listed as the B side of "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", looking at the source data we think that you're correct to claim that this was a mistake. We have fixed the data and the song should now be listed as 2006.

Charting Question
For the The US Billboard charts you guys only use the Hot 100? you don't use the US Bb Hot R&B/Soul/Black (and all the other names it used to be called) or US Bb Hot Dance/Disco Singles chart? I figure you don't because if you did use those charts, Prince's Diamonds & Pearls, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Sign O The Times, Thieves In the Temple, and Gett Off would be #1's for him. (I know Thieves is #1 for him here on this site but not for U.S.)
Also I notice in your "Source Song Chart" section where you show all the charts you base your statistics on, you state in regards to Japan (Tokyo): +"Unfortunately our Japanese text handling is not up to translating the artist names and song titles that are not in Latin text. In addition there are inconsistencies between the names of the same songs from one week to the next We have tried to make the names consistent and map them as best we can, but there are more corrections to be made."
Does this mean All of Prince's #1's In Japan could be unreliable? Furthermore, Let's pretend the Japan (Tokyo) Chart is accurate, If you count all the #1's on this site for Prince it comes out to be 13 (14 if you count RYM #1 "17 Days") which is still (at the least) one less then what you have as Prince's #1's on the "Who had The most Number 1's? Page. You list prince as having 15 #1 songs. Also If you count the #1's from US Hot Bb R&B and US Hot Bb Dance plus your number ones on this page we are talking 17 (w/o "17 days") 18 #1's w/ "17 Days" for Prince. No matter how you slice it is not 15. In my opinion I believe Prince has 12 #1's. None of your Japan (Tokyo) #1's are included in the 12 because I don't believe that is accurate and by what you guys said I don't believe you guys believe it is accurate. Yet US Bb Hot R&B and US Bb Hot Dance are not only easily accessible but there is no language barriers or clarity issues. I'm not trying to be rude so please forgive my bluntness I actually think this is a great website and I appreciate what you guys do. But please clarify.

Lets clarify the Tokyo chart, every entry we have listed here is (we think) reliable, however there are some songs whose artists and titles we couldn't reliably translate, those entries have been removed. So there are some entries missing, this is especially true for Japanese artists. We suspect (given the variety of names that Prince released songs under) that we may have missed some of his hits in Japan, but the ones we have we are quite certain of.
Secondly the various Billboard charts, there are three different reasons for not using them. Firstly we have enough charts for the US, in fact the US has (just) slightly too many charts based on the music market. Secondly adding charts that are focused on a particular genre (like Disco) would distort the results and promote one style of music, we've had to do that for some countries but where we have enough "general" charts we would try not to. And thirdly (and possibly most tellingly) we don't have access to the data for those charts.

Can someone tell me what Prince's international #1's actually are? from what I understand from this page he has 15 worldwide #1s so what are they?
All Prince's song positions are listed on his song page, for example "Beautiful, Loved & Blessed" - 1994 - (Japan (Tokyo) 1 - Mar 2006 (11 weeks), RYM 58 of 1994) was number one in Japan (and not a hit elsewhere).
However note that the count of number 1s was calculated from version 1.8 of the data (we are now on 2.1) it could be that there is a difference where previously distinct songs have been renamed to make them consistent.
