song tragedy
Was the song "Tragedy" ever song by a group called "The Browns"
This site only lists hits, rather than all songs released by a particular group. So if you mean to ask did The Browns have a hit anywhere with a song called "Tragedy" we can answer that, they didn't.
We assume that the group you are referring to were the singers of "The Three Bells (Les Trois Cloches)" (which was a big hit in 1959).
They had less successful hits with "The Old Lamplighter", "Scarlet Ribbons (For Her Hair)", "Send Me the Pillow You Dream On", "Blue Christmas", "Ground Hog", "Heaven Fell Last Night", "Teen-Ex" and "The Old Master Painter". All between 1959 and 1962.
"Barbara & The Browns" also had a hit with "Big Party" in 1964, we assume that is a related act.
According to Wikipedia they disbanded in 1967 (although they reunited in 2006). The Wikipedia article has a list of the singles they released, which again doesn't have anything like the title you asked about.
