Let The Rest Of The World Go By
I love this song and play it on the piano. It was written in 1919 and they played it briefly in the film "Out Of Africa" - - danced to it by phonograph recording.
I thought you would include "Let The Rest Of The World Go By" for the Year 1919.

As we've mentioned elsewhere the administrators of this site don't pick any of the songs listed. We combine entries from charts round the world.
There are very few charts from before 1920 which is why this data is so sparse.
If you know of any web data that lists hit songs from before 1920 we would be glad to consider adding their input to this list.
