Getting Song Infor

Is there a website that provides years released and vocalist info for songsnot big hits (Artie Shaw, Benny G., Harry James)? It drives me crazy not to have this info! Thanks - Peggy D.

The obvious site would be http://www.discogs.com/, some of that info is also on either http://rateyourmusic.com/, or https://musicbrainz.org/ but those two sites focus more on music after 1957.
