Two of us (Steve & A) first saw the Thompson Twins when they were playing a University gig. There were two other bands in the two main rooms so they had to play on a tiny stage at one end of the Lounge Bar. Their set was so good (and word spread so quickly) that by the time they'd finished the room was completely packed. Next time they visited they got the biggest venue. Their gigs were always fantastic. Pass on greetings from a couple of fans
