PRINCE2

PRojects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE) is a project management methodology. It covers the management, control and organisation of projects. "PRINCE2" refers to the second major version of this method and is a registered trademark of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), an independent office of HM Treasury of the United Kingdom.

This is one of the two main methodologies for project management, the other being PMI. In fact the overlap between the two means that any project that follows one will usually do most of the elements of the other anyway.
