Data Convention |

The conventions applied to data within a given location. For example it may be valid in the data model to store a string for the telephone number but if some values are in the form "0207 927352", some are "UK: 0207 927352" and some are "+44 207 927352" then understanding that these all refer to the same number can be a challenge.
Typically these type of issues are addressed by having comprehensive documentation of the ways that the data form is used in practice.
